NDLEA arrests 1,290 suspects in Kaduna, seizes over 4,500kg of illicit medicine in 2024 

The Nationwide Drug Regulation Enforcement Company (NDLEA), Kaduna State Command stated it has arrested no fewer than 1,290 suspects and seized 4,589.361kg of illicit substances in 2024.

The arrests and seizures have been made between January and December 2024, in line with the Commander of the NDLEA Kaduna State Command, Mr. Samaila Danmalam, who spoke with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Kaduna.

Danmalam defined that the Command adopted a kinetic method in its efforts to stamp out drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
